Security camera systems

IP camera systems designed around the site, the lighting and the retention period you actually need — not a box of four cameras and a hope.

Design

Cameras are specified per viewpoint

The most common fault in existing installations is not camera quality — it is placement and lens choice. A camera that covers a wide area at low pixel density produces footage in which you can see that an incident happened but not who was involved. That footage is worthless when it matters.

We survey the site and specify each position against what it needs to deliver: monitor (something is happening), observe (how many people, what direction), recognise (someone known to you), or identify (usable to a third party). Lens, resolution and mounting height follow from that.

Scope

What the installation covers

From survey to handover.

Site survey

Walk-through with you, viewpoint by viewpoint, before anything is quoted.

Camera & lens selection

Fixed, varifocal, dome, bullet or PTZ chosen per position and per lighting condition.

Low-light performance

Infrared and low-light capability specified for positions that matter after dark.

NVR & storage sizing

Recorder and disk capacity calculated from resolution, frame rate, codec and retention period.

Network & PoE

Switching and cabling designed so cameras sit on their own segment, not alongside your servers.

Remote viewing

Secure mobile and desktop access configured, without exposing the recorder to the internet.

Power protection

UPS sizing so recording continues through short power interruptions.

KVKK compliance

Signage, retention policy and access control set up as the law expects.

Maintenance

Periodic checks that cameras are recording, focused, and that disks are healthy.

Compliance

KVKK and camera systems

Camera footage is personal data. Turkish law expects visible notification at the monitored area, a defined and justifiable retention period, restricted access to recordings, and a lawful basis for the monitoring itself.

Two things catch businesses out in practice: cameras pointed at areas where staff have a reasonable expectation of privacy, and recordings kept indefinitely because nobody set a retention period. Both are avoidable at the design stage, and we address them there.

FAQ

Camera system questions

How many cameras do we need?

It depends on what each camera must achieve. Identifying a face requires far more pixels on target than simply observing that someone is present. We walk the site and specify per viewpoint rather than per square metre.

How long can recordings be kept?

Storage is sized to the retention period you choose. Under KVKK, retention should be a deliberate decision with a stated reason — commonly 30 days for general premises monitoring.

Can we view the cameras from a phone?

Yes. Remote viewing is configured on installation, published securely rather than by opening ports directly to the recorder.

Do you service systems installed by someone else?

Yes, provided the equipment is accessible and documented. We will tell you honestly if a system is better replaced than repaired.
